One Hundred Things - PG - VM/OB
Title: One Hundred ThingsAuthors: linden_jay & darknight999Fandom: LotRRating: PGPairing: VM/OBDisclaimer: We lie - that's been proven.Summary: Orlando calls Viggo as he travels to see him.Okay, Jay and I wanted to write something, but the bunny well was seriously dry. So she suggested we look at one of the fic challenge tables. Now, this fic really doesn't have anything to do with the challenge except that we used the table as a prompt. Each side of conversation contains one of the prompt words from the fanfic100

Anything that gets you off your butts and writing something like this is a good thing! Wonderful story, you two. *g*
What a neat idea! And I loved the storyline as well. You showed a lot of emotions and caring through your dialogue. Wish I could have been there when Orlando walked in the door!
Very nicely done and a real treat after having to go back to work today following the break over the holidays. :D
I'm glad you came across me again and added me :)This reminded me why I was so breathless when I read your series, anca had linked me to.It is a delicate beauty, flowing in it's own rhythm.Thank you both ♥
"So, I'm coming home and we're going to the beach and cook outside and look at the stars and - and yeah."Awww, that was lovely!
great idea, lovely story :) thanks for sharing :)
that was wonderful, I loved the whole conversation. Thank you for sharing this.
I love the idea of using the table to write the story! And it's a testament to how good you two are that in almost all of the paragraphs I didn't know what the prompt was.
Right, what she said. [pointing up] There were times where it was pretty clear but there were plenty of times when it wasn't, which I think is a fair triumph. And the story itself was nice. Good dialogue, of course, the back-and-forthing, both a bit hesitant. And I'm very glad you didn't drag in all the, "Oh, he couldn't possibly love me like I love him so I won't mention it!" while the other guy's thinking, "I wish I could tell him how much I love him but I can't imagine he returns my feelings so I'll stay silent!!" Way too much of that around. I liked Orlando's comment about youth, and that his main concern seemed to be that Viggo not think he was trying to regress, that he wanted to go back to the way things were for the wrong reasons. They do love each other and they both know it, they're just trying to work out how. Good job.Angie
Thank you so very much- truly, I grinned like you wouldn't believe at this comment. I think songfic can be either terribly powerful or just oh my word terribly bad, and I'm glad that you think we've managed to pull it off well here. Thanks again! *goes off to bounce and grin some more*
